eBay says product images should be at least 500 pixels on the longest side and recommends images around 1600x1600. Its current guidance also says clear photos, neutral backgrounds and 1:1 or 16:9 aspect ratios generally work well.

Why use the complete marketplace pack?

Repeating the same resize, format and naming work for every sales channel is slow and easy to get wrong. Is 1600x1600 required by eBay?

No. eBay currently requires at least 500 pixels on the longest side and recommends images around 1600x1600. Pixsoma uses 1600x1600 because it is a high-quality square output that fits the recommendation.

Will Pixsoma crop the product?

The eBay marketplace output uses Fit inside on a white square canvas, so the complete source photo remains visible. This differs from the centered crops used for social-media outputs.

Does Pixsoma remove the background?

No. The source background remains part of the photo. Use a clean neutral-background source and confirm that the final image follows eBay's current rules.

Are eBay photos uploaded?

No. Resizing, encoding, naming and ZIP creation run locally in the browser.
